According to the world's most accurate source of information, the word 'meh' was popularized by The Simpsons and was also included as part of a dictionary. But why? Well, even though 'meh' is such a little word, it does all of the useless work larger sentences do with less time and energy.
You: Would you like to build paper maché replicas of our grandparents? : D
Me: Meh.
Translation: I would much rather be eating a bowl of glass than doing that.
You: Did you like the movie?
Me: Meh
Translation: The movie in itself was a complete pile of poop. The actors were nowhere near their potential and the script sounds like it may have been written by a 2nd grade ESOL student.
And there you have it. I hope this was an educational journey for your brain. And welcome to the super secret club for special people. : D
